IP Video Broadcasting Live! (Abbreviation IPVBL)
is a real time IP video streaming server program of high performance that can be
run on both Win32 and Linux platforms. As a media casting server, it can stream
media files in massive formats over IP network through RTP (IETF standards RFC
2190, RFC 2429, RFC 3984, etc), MPEG-2 PS (program stream) or TS (transport
stream) formats.
Unlike conventional media streaming servers, IPVBL is an On-Demand
Streaming Server. It handles stream transcoding on-the-fly, which means
you can stream any media sources in any codecs or formats you wish in order
to maximize your system compatibility. Bunches of familiar audio and video codecs and
formats are supported by IPVBL, including PCM, MP3, AAC, MPEG-1/2/4, H.263, H.264, etc.
Besides audio and video files as streaming sources, IPVBL can pull
streams from 3rd party media servers using RTSP
or RTMP protocols,
such as RealNetworks® Helix Server and
Adobe® Flash Media Server.
NEW in version 2.5: IPVBL can not only pull,
but also push video streams to FMS server now!
IPVBL provides precise control ability in video resolution,
quality, frame rate and bandwidth during streaming. You can reshape the outputting video
stream fast and simple to adapt to your application environment.
IPVBL also provides professional post image processing functions such as logo,
watermark and subtitle overlay. For RTP broadcasting, input and output stream attributes
can be easily imported or exported through SDP files
(RFC 2327), which can be used to
collaborate with other applications in the whole scenario.
