IPTV Live Video Encoding & Streaming Newtek NDI
Network Device Interface (NDI) is a software specification developed by NewTek. It is designed to run over gigabit Ethernet with NDI codec to enable high-definition video to be transmitted, received, and communicated. A large number of device and software manufacturers support NDI, including JVC, Panasonic, LiveU, Deltacast, AJA, vMix, OBS, etc.
IPVTL software is shipped with NDI SDK so no extra SDK installation is required to work with NDI devices or 3rd party software.
Stream from 3rd Party NDI Sources like vMix / XSplit / OBS
In 3rd party App, find setting like NewTek NDI Output and enable it. In IPVTL, choose newtek ndi in channel source formats and click "..." button to search available NDI sources on your computer.
Note NDI sources might take long time to be detected. If no NDI sources found, try bigger timeout value and click Search Again.
Stream to Newtek NDI Interfaces
The other way round, IPVTL can stream to 3rd party apps like vMix, XSplit and OBS via NDI. In IPVTL, select Newtek NDI as Target Format. The output NDI name in Target URL is default to "ipvt_ch#", but you can enter whatever your like.
After channel started, the NDI output shall be seen in 3rd party apps.
