IPTV Continuous Live Video Encoding & Streaming

During streaming, channel can break when input signal (udp, http) is temporarilly unavailable, due to unexpected server down or device reboot. That causes streaming breaks on end user side and usually requires manual reconnect to continue playing the video.

With IPVTL continuous streaming capability, manual reconnecting is not required any more. The video switches to an EBU PAL color bar screen when input signal is lost, and switches back when signal is recovered.

Moreover, the EBU PAL color bar screen is customizable. In IPVTL Global Settings, you can choose to play your own video instead during signal lost, like a logo picture or commercials.

When streaming signal is lost, a NO-SIGNAL alert is triggered in IPVTL channel status as a warning of input stream maintenance.
